What defines earSHIELD
earSHIELD was developed for cyclists who want less distracting airflow around the ear without shielding the ear. The models sit on the helmet strap, remain lightweight and compact, and are designed for everyday rides as well as longer tours.
Less airflow around the ears
earSHIELD deflects airflow away from the ear and can noticeably reduce distracting wind noise while cycling. In winter, cold airflow around the ear is reduced; in summer, the ear remains free.
Important sounds remain audible
earSHIELD does not rest directly on the ear. Traffic, warning signals, conversations and other ambient sounds remain perceptible.
Always on the helmet
earSHIELD is attached to the bike helmet and is ready for every ride. It does not need to be searched for, put on or stored again before each ride.
Especially lightweight and compact
Depending on the model, the weight starts at around 5 g per side. The compact shape reduces airflow around the ear without unnecessarily affecting helmet comfort.
Natural sheep wool on earSHIELD 2 and Pro
earSHIELD 2 and earSHIELD Pro use a natural sheep wool outer material. The wool helps make airflow and turbulence around the ear more comfortable. earSHIELD Classic remains the proven original polyamide model.
Individually adjustable profile
The earSHIELD profile shape can be adjusted individually. This allows the shape to be adapted to the ear, helmet and personal preference without covering the ear.
Practical for everyday combinations
earSHIELD fits many bike helmets and glasses and can be combined with many in-ear headphones and hearing aids. Less wind around the ear can also make voice prompts or conversations during a ride more comfortable.

More cycling joy with audible surroundings
earSHIELD grew out of a problem that bothered me for a long time while cycling: airflow around the ear makes rides louder and more tiring, without making you want to cover the ear completely. That is why I develop and make earSHIELD myself in Berlin - as a lightweight wind deflector on the helmet strap that reduces airflow while still letting important sounds through.
