If you want to enjoy cycling even more but know the problem of distracting wind noise around your ears, earSHIELD 2 is the right helmet accessory for you.
earSHIELD 2 keeps the airflow away from the ear without resting directly on it. This can reduce wind noise while important ambient sounds remain audible. It is comfortable for everyday rides, touring, commuting and especially at higher speeds on a bike, e-bike or pedelec.
Like earSHIELD Pro, the new version attaches to the helmet strap in front of the ear with hook-and-loop fastening. This makes installation simple and ensures a secure hold on the strap. At the same time, earSHIELD 2 stays focused on the essentials: less wind around the ear, an individually adjustable profile shape, very low weight and high comfort without direct ear contact.
An earSHIELD 2 set contains 2 pieces, one for each ear. A bike helmet is not included.

Important notes
earSHIELD 2 is designed to keep airflow away from the ear. Depending on ear shape, helmet, chin strap position and speed, this can noticeably reduce wind noise. earSHIELD 2 is a wind deflector, not an ear warmer, because it does not fully cover the ear.
earSHIELD 2 fits bike helmets where the strap runs in front of the ear and lies close enough to the head. In front of the ear, the chin strap should be no more than 3 mm away from the head so that earSHIELD 2 and the strap sit close to the head and no disruptive air gap is created.
Size and weight: length 5,2 cm, height 6,7 cm, weight 5 g per side.
Material: Durable inner structure and natural sheep wool outer material. Textile composition according to the product insert: 60% polyamide, 40% wool.
earSHIELD 2 is developed and produced in Germany.
Care note: Loose wool fibers can be felted again by rubbing in circular motions or trimmed off. However, voluminous wool supports the reduction of wind noise. earSHIELD 2 can be washed by hand.

Compatibility and use
Use only on bike helmets where the helmet strap runs in front of the ear and lies close enough to the head. The distance between helmet strap and head in front of the ear should be no more than approx. 3 mm. Before first use, read the application instructions and check that earSHIELD 2 sits securely, does not fully cover the ear and that important ambient sounds remain audible.
