Less wind noise without covering the ear
earSHIELD 2 is an especially lightweight wind deflector for bike helmets. It attaches to the helmet strap in front of the ear and redirects airflow away from the ear. This can reduce distracting wind noise while traffic sounds, warning signals and conversations remain audible.
It attaches directly to the helmet strap with hook-and-loop fastening. The profile shape can be adjusted individually. earSHIELD 2 is suitable for everyday riding, commuting and longer tours by bike, e-bike or pedelec.

Does earSHIELD 2 fit my bike helmet?
earSHIELD 2 fits bike helmets where the helmet strap runs in front of the ear and lies close to the head. The distance between the helmet strap and the head in front of the ear should be no more than approximately 3 mm.

Care note: Loose wool fibres can be felted again by rubbing them in circular motions or carefully trimmed. Fuller wool supports the reduction of wind noise.

Performance depends on factors including ear shape, bike helmet, helmet strap position, speed and wind direction. earSHIELD 2 is a wind deflector, not an ear warmer, because it does not fully cover the ear.

The distance between helmet strap and head in front of the ear should be no more than approx. 3 mm. Before first use, read the application instructions and check that earSHIELD 2 sits securely, does not fully cover the ear and that important ambient sounds remain audible.
