earSHIELD Pro is the premium version of the earSHIELD bike helmet wind deflector. It was developed to reduce distracting wind noise while cycling without fully covering the ear.
Improvements compared with earSHIELD Classic
- Significantly improved reduction of wind noise thanks to the new outer material made from sheep wool from Austria.
- Larger ears are also shielded from the wind more effectively.
- Lightweight design at approx. 7 g per side.
- Soft inner side and smoother outer edges for high wearing comfort.
- More comfortably adjustable profile shape, additionally with reinforcement strips for the front edge.
- Reworked hook-and-loop attachment for a secure hold on the helmet strap.

Important notes
earSHIELD Pro is designed to keep airflow away from the ear. Depending on ear shape, helmet, chin strap position and speed, this can noticeably reduce wind noise. earSHIELD Pro is a wind deflector, not an ear warmer, because it does not rest directly on the ear.
earSHIELD Pro fits bike helmets where the strap runs in front of the ear and lies close enough to the head. In front of the ear, the chin strap should be no more than 6 mm away from the head so that earSHIELD Pro and the strap sit close to the head and no disruptive air gap is created.
Care note: Loose wool fibers can simply be felted again by rubbing or trimmed off. However, voluminous wool helps improve noise reduction.
Please follow the included instructions. A bike helmet is not included.

Intended use
earSHIELD Pro is attached to the helmet strap in front of the ear and is designed to deflect airflow away from the ear and reduce distracting wind noise while cycling. earSHIELD Pro is not a bike helmet, crash protection, hearing protection or ear warmer.
Compatibility and use
Use only on bike helmets where the helmet strap runs in front of the ear and lies close enough to the head. The distance between helmet strap and head in front of the ear should be no more than approx. 6 mm. Before first use, read the application instructions and check that earSHIELD Pro sits securely, does not fully cover the ear and that important ambient sounds remain audible.
Safety information
- Warning - choking hazard: Not suitable for children under 3 years. Small parts can be swallowed.
- Warning - reduced awareness: Never fully cover the ears. Traffic and warning signals must remain audible.
- Caution - flammable: Keep away from flames, sparks and strong heat sources.
- Caution - installation: Read the instructions before first use and check that the product sits securely.
- Caution - damage: Replace the product immediately if visible damage is present or after a crash.
- Material note: If you are sensitive to wool or experience skin irritation, stop using the product.
